Craig specialises in financial modelling and the funding and financing of transport infrastructure. He has developed funding strategies, undertaken risk assessments and designed commercial propositions for transport infrastructure and operations in the UK and overseas.
Craig has significant experience in the financial aspects of transport operations and has led financial modelling teams on five rail franchises for both public and private clients. He has designed viable commercial models for transport operations including options for private sector involvement in Quito Metro in Ecuador and specifying a revenue risk sharing mechanism for UK rail franchising. Craig also has extensive experience advising on funding strategies and policy, working on the Crossrail extension, alternative fuel infrastructure across Europe, securing third-party funding in Mexico and funding options for rail infrastructure in Bristol and Cambridge in the UK.
Craig is a senior member of the business and financial modelling team at Steer and leads the financial advisory area of this team.
