Mike has over 25 years’ experience as a transport planner and traffic engineer. He is an expert in major developments and has worked substantially in the UK and Latin America.

Mike worked for 11 years with Steer in the UK before moving to Brazil. In the UK he worked on various high-profile projects such as Wembley and Emirates Stadiums and development projects such as Canary Wharf in London. In Brazil he has led the company’s projects on various stadia projects - including 9 stadia for the 2014 FIFA World Cup - and the analysis of approximately 50 rail/metro station projects in the country.

At Steer, Mike is the legal representative for the Brazil office and was office leader for five years. He is the market leader for major developments and events in the Latin American region.
