Mayra is an architect and urban planner with over 7 years of experience in the formulation of strategies to improve public spaces, create urban commons and incentivize sustainable mobility.
At Steer, she has worked for 5 years in projects related to active mobility and sustainable urban planning. She has been Project Manager for projects like the TOD Masterplan for Regiotram and the Integration of Mass Transit and Bicycle Infrastructure in Lima. She participated in the formulation of mobility masterplans for cities such as Manizales, Pereira, Bogotá and AMVA, where she developed spatial and urban analysis to propose guidelines to improve public spaces and pedestrian infrastructure.
