Stefany is an Environmental Engineer with a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Management Engineering and is a PhD candidate. She has over 10 years of experience in energy, transportation, modelling, risk management, knowledge management, emissions analysis, and public policies.
Stefany has worked in various national and territorial entities, standing out as an expert in transportation, energy, environmental modelling, climate risk management, and resilience. During her leadership at the Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME), she developed projections for the demand for liquid fuels and LPG and was part of the team that formulated the National Energy Plan 2020-2050 and the Rational and Efficient Energy Use Program (PROURE) 2022-2030 for Colombia.
Additionally, Stefany shares her expertise as a university professor in postgraduate programs related to environmental management, smart cities, energy management, and sustainable mobility. Furthermore, she is a researcher and author of various research documents and academic publications.
As a Senior Consultant in Steer's planning team, Stefany leads the ESG and energy market by working on projects focused on energy transition, electromobility, management of energy sources, sustainable mobility, climate financing, climate change, and resilience in transport.
