Steer is supporting the Mott MacDonald-led consortium in bringing five large £100m (INR 1000 crore) projects to market by 2023. These initiatives, referred to as high-value projects (HVPs), will be delivered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in partnership with the Government of India and the municipal authorities through the services of a delivery partner.

Following on from the Vision for Stations, which Steer developed for the Rail Delivery Group, this study was commissioned to explore possible approaches to creating a stations dashboard and classification system which could be used across the industry and beyond with the overall objective of creating a common language and resources.

With vast experience in this sector and having been involved in the planning and delivery of both London 2012 and Rugby World Cup 2015 events, we knew the complexities that would be faced in Cardiff and developed a solution which would make the event fan experience more pleasurable and help to run the event more efficiently.

Despite the fact that Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) have become more prominent in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean, the Interamerican and Development Bank identified a significant knowledge gap from government officials, in regards to the technical components, functionality, and governance needs of these systems.

Steer was commissioned to design and build a new version of the Valley Metro’s Ridekick app for iOS and Android, building on the work we’d previously delivered for their responsive website.
